This warranty only applies to defects inherent to the material supplied. It includes delamination or reduced resistance of the wear layer. It does not cover wear on the edge of boards. Catching the edge of the board is not wear, in most cases the board has been chipped. Tapestry Laminate has the highest rating for abrasive wear, therefore the accelerated wear of shoes, socks, furniture leg protectors, or the possible sensitivity of a person or pet’s feet is not covered. This is not an “all inclusive” list. The lifetime locking Välinge 5G joint warranty only applies to open joints over 0.01” (0.2mm). Tapestry Flooring will repair or replace the area affected at its’ option. The lifetime stain resistance applies to normal household living conditions, it does not cover harsh chemicals introduced to the household from outside influences. The limited lifetime water/pet resistance is for 48 hours after a topical spill or accident has happened. Reoccurring areas such as pet bowls (a catch tray under bowl must be used), entrance and exit to swimming pool without drying off, entrance and exit of melting snow or rain-soaked clothing (shake off clothing outdoors before entering as repetitive melting snow or rain water will damage your floor. Always wipe up excess water or spills for safety and to keep your topical resistance warranty in place. This is not an “all inclusive” list. Unwiped or standing liquids left over 48 hours will damage your floor and void the warranty. When replacement of the flooring is made, only new planks from the current product range at the time of the complaint is upheld will be supplied. There will be no other form of compensation. Responsibility under this warranty only applies to defects that were not visible before or during the installation of the product. Use constitutes acceptance. If the product was originally professionally installed by a licensed flooring contractor, Tapestry Flooring will cover reasonable labor costs for any approved claim defective product.
This warranty does not cover damage to the finished installation caused by installation errors. Flooring planks or accessories must be carefully inspected for material defects before and during installation and examined under proper lighting conditions. Products with visible defects must not be installed under any circumstances. The distributor or retailer must be informed in writing of such defects within 30 days. After this time has elapsed, no further complaints will be accepted. Color and gloss differences resulting from material added to an existing installation at a later date and from non-warranty repairs are excluded from coverage.
To qualify for any repair of replacement, buyer will need to provide the original dated sales receipt or other documentation to demonstrate proof of purchase. Warranty is non- transferable, applies to original purchaser only.

Scratching during and after the installation is not covered. Gloss reduction is not surface wear. The feet of furniture must always be covered with appropriate floor protection. Chairs, sofas, or furniture with amust be fitted with soft rubber wheels, or an adequate protective mat or castor cups must be put under this type of furniture.
